Blind Spot – An area not visible in any of your mirrors.
Overtaking – never overtake approaching the brow of a hill, a bend, a dip in the road or a left-hand junction.
Large Vehicles – keep well back when following a large vehicle as this allows the driver of the vehicle to see you in their mirrors.
Tired Driving – find a suitable place to stop and get some rest. Allow fresh air into your vehicle.
Poor Concentration – loud music, using a mobile phone and objects hanging from your interior mirror can all cause you to lose concentration on your driving.
Windscreen pillars or A-Frames obstruct your view of the road.
Headlights – always turn your lights on when its getting dark, don’t wait for the street lights to come on.
Remember you use lights so you can see and also so that others can see you.
